An advanced asynchronous motor and perfectly matched rotor and impeller assembly enable the new TT-Series asynchronous pumps to deliver energy savings up to 35% over the TW-Series. The cooling screens in the TT-series pumps are perfectly balanced to allow the most water in while keeping harmful abrasives out. TT pumps have a three vane hybrid impeller and very tight tolerances between the impeller and the volute. This impeller and volute combination functions like an incredibly efficient radial impeller but still have the ability to pass larger debris. To simplify the maintenance The intake screens on the TT-Series pumps are designed for maximum water flow. Pronounced fins on the intake screens stop large debris from blocking the openings to the pumps. The intake attaches to the pump handle with two latches located on either side of the screen. The handle is also perforated and works in conjunction with the intake to increase surface area for more water flow

TECH TIP
The rotors of asynchronous TidalWave Pumps are water cooled, with a screen to keep grit out of the rotor chamber. Keeping the screen clean will prevent overheating and prolong the life of the pump.
