Warehouse Shipping Clerk / Packing Clerk

$1,000 HIRING BONUS*

We are looking for a self-motivated and skilled Shipping and Packaging Clerk to join our warehouse team. The shipping packing clerk is responsible for ensuring that products and goods are packed and shipped correctly and efficiently. Their main duties include, selecting, staging and packaging products according to the packing slip, verifying product quantities and quality, rate shopping and labeling packages. The shipping packing clerk must ensure that accurate records are updated for their shipments and ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process customer orders for shipping.

• Prepare, Stage, Choose the correct packaging and pack items for shipment, ensuring that they are properly labeled and secured. Ensuring that the contents match the description and follow customer requests

• Weigh and measure packages to determine the correct shipping costs.

• Select appropriate carriers for each shipment based on customer requirements and carrier pricing.

• Generate shipping labels and other required documentation.

• Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities, including tracking information and costs

• Use of good judgement and able to work independently

• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently

• Basic and daily warehouse duties and functions as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is great but not required

• Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50lbs or greater with assistance.

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Good communication skills

• Ability to read and analyze Information.

• Computer skills to operate shipping Software.

• Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously

• Ability to come to work everyday and be punctual

• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods

• Read and record measurements with a measuring tape.

• Previous shipping, warehouse/supply chain experience preferred but not required

Onsite Position:
Our Warehouse Shipping Clerk / Material Handler is required to be able to work onsite.
