Perfect for Small Bird Bath Fountain
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. I use it to catch water from a 2 tiered homemade bird bath/fountain. Keeps the water clean. Easy to install. I recommend putting down screened porch screen as a filter (not the metal variety) before covering with rocks.
Pros:Easy Install. Works perfectly. Pump access is ideal.

Water feature
Very nice product,I did however add some bricks to aid supporting the top as it was not able to maintain a level surface without the bricks, I do not believe that the rocks used in total are 500 pounds, which the basin is rated for. If I was to do it again I would go for the 45 as it has a 1500 pound rating and more surface area to play with. Otherwise the product is wonderful. I really dig the water feature that I put together.

Just what I needed
I needed a small basin to support a heavy fountain stone - this one worked well for me. My stone is probably around 400 pounds, which is right at the limit for this unit despite the 500 pound advertised limit. I used two steel rods to help distribute the weight, and the resulting setup works fine.
