Continuous duty pump designed for use outside of pond. Can move large volumes of water quietly and efficiently through filtration systems, waterfall or stream. Its compact size takes up a small foot print. Energy-Saving centrifugal pump. A priming pot and check valve is recommended for installations where the pump is located above the water source. |

Nice pump!
This is a very quiet and very efficient pump. Although more expensive than some pumps with this flow level, it will pay for itself quickly in saved electricity. Some if the OPWG series have power quotes that are wrong. This page says says 1/8 HP but at 132 Watts, its more like 1/6 HP. Replaced a 1/2 HP pump and getting similar flow.
Pros:Specs available for GPH vs Head and power. Very quite. Very efficient - lots of flow for less power. Four models to cover range of flow requirements.
Cons:A little pricey, but efficiency will pay for over time.
